WHY SCIENCE

In the halls of knowledge, where mysteries unfold,

Scientists tread where few dare to behold.

With curiosity as their guiding light,

They delve into realms, both day and night.

But in their quest to unlock nature's gate,

Some scientists stray, tempting fate.

They tamper with the essence of life,

Playing with fire, amidst the strife.

Through the lens of innovation, they peer,

Seeking to conquer what they hold dear.

Yet in their arrogance, they fail to see,

The consequences of their tampering spree.

For when scientists interfere with the human soul,

They risk losing sight of the ultimate goal.

Their creations may spark awe and wonder,

But they also evoke fear and thunder.

With each experiment, they dance on the edge,

Pushing boundaries, without a pledge.

Yet as they play with life's delicate thread,

They may awaken forces that should be left dead.

So let us heed the warning, and tread with care,

For the path of science is fraught with dare.

Let us not forget the lessons of old,

Lest we reap the consequences of arrogance bold.
