Friends are interesting creatures
We share
A kindness
A love
A joy
Sometimes fear
Sometimes jealousy
Sometimes pain
It takes bravery to be a friend
And a sprinkle of fun and silliness
Friendship - real friendship - requires a certain courage and a patience that doesn’t always come naturally
We try our best

Friendship sometimes needs us to forgive - which is hard
But with great rewards
And good friends make life better
They make us laugh and sing
And for that - I’m thankful
