Why not, I asked, to no reply,

so, I did that thing I did.

No one was there, so who would care,

as I winked with one eyelid.

*

I swayed and swooped and jumped through hoops.

to keep from getting caught,

But no was there to catch me.

so, I can't get blamed for squat.

*

I had such fun, I did it again,

with just a glance over my shoulder.

With every near miss, my heart would skip,

as it grew ornerier and bolder.

*

Just one more time - I told myself,

no-one would be the wiser.

So, I did that thing I did - once more,

and the feeling just got nicer.

*

Eventually I decided, it was no longer any fun,

getting away, without getting caught.

I wanted someone else to see me,

doing things, that I should not.

*

So, I went on home, called it a night,

maybe I'd try again next week.

To do that thing I did before,

and bring someone else - to peek.

fact or fiction

This just had a smile on my face the whole time! I loved the tone of this and that you didn't reveal what the thing is!! (see...you should bring me along next time...I'm fine with keeping it a secret...bahaha) Great work, Kelli!!

Love the rhyming and flow in this, and damn I want to know what that thing was. Great piece.
