Rhythmic rhymes, rhyming perfectly in time,
to a tune or a thought in your head.
Keeping beat with the beat, as you're tapping your feet,
or your fingers - just snapping instead.
There's a peace that's released, as you skip down the street,
to a melody stuck on repeat.
And a smile on your face, beaming all over the place,
to the ones that you meet on the street.
Before long, they are all humming along,
to the song that you beam - from inside.
All because of a beat that got stuck on repeat,
and your whole body came along for the ride.

It's difficult for me to know where to start with a review of this book as it was, for me, an entirely unique experience and one that I'll probably never have again. I don't want that to be interpreted as unenjoyable but it has left me scratching my head a little and ruminating on its content, its themes and its characters.
