Why are we taught to be prejudice?
In an ideal world we would treat each other with kindness

Why are we taught to be prejudice?
A war, a prejudice — what is it for?
Man, woman, we are so much more.
Forget the color, look at the heart,
Remember we’re made from God’s own art.
To love, not hate that is our part.
The blood we bleed is all red.
The pain we feel — it runs through us
No flag nor name can break the thread,
That binds us all — both born and bred.
The hand you hold, the tear you shed,
Belong to all black brown white and red.
A soul’s not shaped by skin or land,
But by the touch of a helping hand.
So drop the sword, unchain the mind,
Let mercy speak and make us kind.
The war of hearts must always cease,
For we are one — let there be peace.

I've been writing poetry since the age of fourteen. With pen in hand, I wander through realms unseen. The pen holds power; ink reveals hidden thoughts. A poet may speak truth or weave a tale. You decide. Let pen and ink capture your mind❤️
