War of the minds. No peace No end

Mental Cruelty War Will Destroy With Words Or A Gun

War of the minds. No peace No end

An explosion of regrets, a warzone of the mind,

Each thought a missile, each memory a wound.

Battles rage within, no peace to find,

In trenches of the soul, despair engraved.

Ghosts of choices past march in endless line,

Their faces haunting, eyes devoid of light.

Decisions made, now spectres that entwine,

In nocturnal raids, they conquer night.

Fields once green, now scorched and bare,

Dreams lie shattered, remnants of the fight.

The heart, a battlefield of deep despair,

Where echoes of the fallen haunt the night.

No armistice in sight, the conflict stays,

A personal war that time cannot erase.

A war of the mind, can never be won.

A battle field with out tanks or a gun
