Smile is the Crown I hold
A slave within grows cold
He walks where treasure spills at his feet
With Clever Lovely monsters in his fleet
Darkness inside him is the Brightest truth
He haunts each empty breath like a silent sleuth
A rebelion rises in his world, only to be destroyed again
In the Stormy Night he laughs in pain
Sympathy is the greatest curse on him—It makes him a beggar
Everyone feeds him, but he dies of hunger

Dark, beautiful and incredibly profound. The pain of sacrificing the slave within for the crown of a smile. Spilling treasures at your feet, to keep you a slave. Clever aren't they. Sounds scarily similar to a certain something... I need not say no more. Darkness inside means our glasses aren't foggy, you speak the truth Sk. Sympathy sure does outweigh tangible help. It's the sad truth. Outstanding work as always SK 🤗❤️
Nice work SK, Calvin.
Omgggg, those last three lines! That was so heartbreaking! Loved your poem so much!
The first couplet made the most sense! And the last 2? Woah! It's like he's being fed with hope, sympathy and everything that still makes him feel hollow. Excellent job writing this bro! 👌🤝👏👏
