He understands the ways I feel

He lifts me whenever I fall

He teaches me to walk again

When I stumble or I crawl

He puts me back together

Each time I fall apart

He's lost the battle for my mind

But since has won my heart

His smiles are real, his love is true

And deep his dedication

So I must ask my self one thing:

Is he my imagination?

For who could love so deep so fast

And who could make me feel

After years of being numb?

Am I certain that he's real?

Am I questioning a faith? Perhaps.

My faith in good in men

But still I find myself unsure

From time to time again

But, I guess, I just don't care

Whether he is real or not

Because I love him anyway

So I'll give it a shot.

About the Creator

Maia Gadwall the metAlchemist

I fell in love with speculative fiction and poetry many years ago, but I have precious little time to write any. Then, I went crazy and started a cult called metAlchemy, or meta alchemy. I revere energy of all brands, esp. good, kind chaos.
