Who Is This Woman?

She’s more than just a woman or another female…

She’s the one who makes sacrifices just so YOU prevail.

She loves you unconditionally;

She’d do anything for you…

Although she isn’t perfect,

she does her best to see you through.

She’s content when you are happy;

She feels sad when you show dismay…

She can only be as happy as her saddest child

(At least that’s what they say.)

She’s a nurturer, caregiver, counselor and nurse,

all wrapped up in one…

That’s quite a package deal I’d say

and on top of that she’s fun!

I’m talking about your mother.

The one who taught you how to go potty…

To have a child is essentially having your heart living outside of your body.

The bond with a mother is unmatched,

so cherish her every day your eyes hit the sun…

Do it while she’s still here and remember you only have ONE.

Yes there are step in moms, godmoms, adopted moms too…

They are just as important so honor whoever this is for you.

In the event that your mother is no longer with you please understand that she is still there…

when you hear her voice inside your head or feel a sudden comfort even when in despair.

She still knows you love her and she’s now inside of you…

All that she instilled in you is there through and through.
