Where is my flashlight
Who's there, is that you daddy
No, no, leave me be

Author's Note: How do you write a haiku on the subject of bringing a scare, when haikus are usually about love or nature? Then, what about the minimum for poetry of 100 words mentioned in the community guidelines? I suppose you write several haikus to bring fear or mystery.

A haiku to scare
I love nature and you, Boo
Is that really fair

Redhot recluse runs

By George, I am here
Over here, can't you see me
Okay then, next time

I love how you turned the haiku form into something playful and spooky.
Nicely done, Denise. I find that is the problem with Haikus, they are over before they start. I always feel like a hoax submitting just three lines, so if it not a competition, I usually try to collect two or three together on the same theme.
I especially loved your third one, you made it into a Tautogram as well. Sooo impressive!
So clever! I love the acrostic too! ☺️
Denise , the hunted echoes Challenge did not asked for 100 words. I read some very scary ones. I only entered one. Stalker Into the night ,was mine.
All bring about some sense of fear, but really just a sense of fun for all. (I always thought the same thing, but for poetry now they do not need to be 100 words)
