You want to judge me officer
Based off my skin it's OK
I can't hold that against you
for your preconception
it was engraved in you
it was something you
was trained to do
when you see a picture of a black individual
you're meant to
recognize this loudmouth
drug dealers
Hood-rat's on the corner selling that
cookie for the next meal
popping gum like it ain't Nobody Business
hard-headed and stubborn
never going to amount to nothing good
We don't know how to use a brain
constantly thinking how to make fast change
your pretentious it's not your fault
Society has not only programmed you
to view us this way but it is also
programmed us to view our-self this way
we are trapped in our slavery days
light skin vs dark skin
when we are of the same skin
you see it was engraved
to see you as nothing but the devil itself
believing that all you would do is keep us down in life
and that's why we could never amount to nothing
Making the only thing that we will
ever be good at is
Slinging drugs on a corner
Slinging pussy for the next available
man around the corner
the world needs to open their eyes
and realize that we are all slaves to
The higher ups
believing what they believe
because without that this world
would be unbalanced and
something they couldn't control
if all colored and all Nations stood together
we would be unstoppable but
because it was engraved in our brain
that we should hate and despise
bring War upon another
we have nothing else with out the hatred
ask yourself
Who would you Deem Supreme
If you had a mind of your own
About the Creator

I've been writing poetry on and off since elementary school. i didn't get heavily involved in poetry until the end of middle school going into high school. Poetry and writing stories became an outlet for me during those difficult times
