Pills of Emotion

Daily dose

By MeshiaPublished 6 years ago 1 min read

Like a thief in the night

I gave her such a fright

Scaring her with my toys of  delight

Joy, pain, fear, abandonment, molestation and loneliness

A wonderful concoction

for the road she must travel

leading her nowhere

Clawing into her veins

to the secrets she long-forgotten

The first pill she ever swallowed was abandonment

Shortly after came abuse

Not upon her but as a witness

Joy was a lovely pill

That was short-lived

Pain and fear became constant

She swallowed them daily

Molestation became a pill

once swallowed but never remembered

Loneliness that was one of the

hardest pill to swallow

but she got through it

Taking her daily dose of medication

Feelings she could not explain

Her age along with her fear it's complicated

Her innocence long-abandoned

weeping like the victim

Screaming for help but not knowing why

Building concrete wall for the unfavorable memories

Fear of the consequence

she's wrapped herself up tight

unhinged I'm sure others will have a fright

Unravel her to Bare her true

The hurt is unbearable or is it the stairs

Of not wanting the undying truth

Unleashing her demons

Only  allowing more to take their place

Her mind & body a polluting Factory of disgrace

Mingled by Savage animals

calling into the shadow to know her true

Seeping into Your Soul

willing you to speak it, write it & spread it to the world

Clawed deep within their souls

they're ever being

so they can feel her pain of depression

knowing that they can no longer turn a blind eye

heal her from within

Bring her serenity

Lay her soul to rest

Let The last pill that

she swallows be true happiness
