who i am

my name is lola

and I write love poems

but i have never experienced love first hand

it’s an unknown land to me and I will travel far across the sea but in the end it’s just full of dead ends

so I write poems of how I imagine it will be because I never have ever been able to see

so instead I put words on the screen hoping that someone can relate and maybe if I’m lucky I’ll be connected to my soulmate

all I can do is hope cross my fingers and imagine that through the screen i will meet them
