When I find your gaze...

I begin to get lost in your maze.

I find myself in ways I never imagined.

A fraction of time stands still in place β€”

As I navigate this maze

The walls begin to fall,

A painted picture in its place.

My vision free from a blur,

To see you in a new way,

The moment you show me you β€”

To be in the right place at the right time,

I stand as protector,

The one with fight in every vein,

The one that builds shelters,

The one that smiles when in pain.

Life is beauty

In every moment, even as it fades.

To give life meaning on any rainy day

in the most purpose full way.
