Who I Am

is not who I was

By Colleen WaltersPublished 3 months ago Updated 3 months ago 1 min read

You poured over me

drowning me in Faith until

I stepped on the sea.

You sang over me

tuning my heartstrings until

I became a hymn.

You prayed over me

spoke life over my tatters

until I had breath.

You watched over me

honing my gifts until I

was ready for war.

Part of Your army

fighting the battles until

the evil is gone.

Amen.

“Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.” Ephesians‬ ‭6‬:‭11‬-‭12‬ ‭NKJV
