White
A fresh blank canvas
I relate
Each month a new start
Erase, unfold a brand new state
I let fate decide which colour i’ll be
Each second
Each day reveals a thrilling mystery
It was lilac today
With a dash of grey at dawn
With sunrise came cries to heaven
Of my beloved sister
I mourn
But the grief did fade
And turned a shade of purple skies
Sweet lilac love filled my heart
I guess God must have heard my cries
A treasure chest of colours my soul does keep
Even those that take their toll
And paint me whole in shades of deep
I know they serve a purpose
Of which i've learnt to no longer seek
For i've been shown the bright outweighs the dark
When the seasons turn too bleak
From the depths of the grey to the sweet lilac rays
I honour my colours for all
To embrace theirs too
For there's hope where there's new
Exquisite memories of life left to pursue
I speak of mine for all
To know of their depth
And explore in breathe
Their wondrous being,
Listen deep for your call
Bravely battle the fall
Life's rainbow of colours
For you too can be freeing.
