Whispers of Solitude
A Soul's Journey Through Life's Unanswered Questions

Even in a crowd, I lean on solitude,
Like a temple standing quietly on a village’s edge.
Unfamiliar noises arrive uninvited,
Hiding the fire of life within their sound.
The distant, dark night whispers hollow winds,
Filling the heart with colors unknown.
Mysterious shadows of the night
Exchange silent signals with the stars.
All around lie dust-covered paths—
Who knows which one is meant for me?
Why have I come here? Where am I headed?
No god or goddess has ever answered.
The world offers endless faces to meet,
But not one voice calls out with true affection.
Though my body stands still, my mind wanders,
I feel like a stranger within my own home.
The sun’s heat travels beside me,
While moonlit nights deceive with gentle lies.
The road has eased my body’s weariness,
But who will soothe the fatigue of my soul?
No one seemed mine, no one a stranger—
I embraced those who met me with an open heart.
I made no difference between thorns and flowers,
And faced both sin and virtue with honest intent.
I am what I am, standing before time,
Whether it chooses to break me or shape me.
