In the middle of the winter night, when shadows move in thin moonlight,

hides a creature with coal-colored eyes, 

a chilly, lost, haunted Yeti. 

 --

His fur as white as driven snow hides a heart so full of suffering as He goes forth, a ghostly death, through the mist of chilly breath. 

 --

Legends of his terrible fate - born from darkness, raised in fear, 

Haunted to traverse the crest of the mountain, 

with a labored, restless chest. 

 --

Wailing gusts that bite and freeze, Echo with his sad thrill, Silent walks on powdered drifts, mark the path of old rifts. 

 --

Clear whispers in the pines talk to us. 

Of the never-ending terror among the neveris, 

Driven by grief, never-ending darkness, he runs from the day and from the light. 

 --

Eyes shining with secret agony, 

Under the moon's celestial rule, 

See his form and sense the fear. 

Of the living as well as the dead. 

 --

Once a man, or so they call, lost to time and turned to prey, now he wanders this cold hell under a curse or twisted magic. 

 --

Where the ancient secrets slumber in the glacial shadows deep, 

Hear his terrible sigh. 

alone in the dark. 

 --

Dare you walk where yeti cries? 

Where quiet keeps, in the snow, 

Alert yourself to the call of the ghostly mountain. 

Alternatively accompany the thrall's yeti.
