In meadows kissed by morning's dew,
I wandered, heart both light and new,
With dreams as vast as summer skies,
And wonder dancing in my eyes.
The world, a book of endless pages,
Unfolded secrets of the ages,
Each blade of grass, a lesson learned,
Each petal, wisdom dearly earned.
Oh, how the songbirds seemed to know
The tune my soul longed to grow,
Their melodies, a gentle guide,
Through valleys deep and mountainside.
In nature's arms, I found my way,
Through shadows long and golden day,
The river's rush, the forest's sigh,
Taught truths that time cannot deny.
With every step on earthen floor,
I understood a little more,
That youth's sweet bloom, though quick to fade,
Gives way to strength in sun and shade.
Now, standing tall 'midst autumn's glow,
I cherish all I've come to know,
For in life's grand and wild design,
Each season leaves its mark divine.
So let the years like petals fall,
I'll greet each change, embrace it all,
For in this journey, strange and free,
I've found the person I'm meant to be.
Postscript:
A poignant poem exploring the transition from youth to wisdom, set against the backdrop of nature's ever-changing canvas, blending elements of nostalgia, growth, and the profound beauty of self-discovery.
