Whispered Truth
A road runs quiet through your name,
where echoes rest and footsteps claim
a strength that hums beneath your skin,
not borrowed gold, not polished thin.
I saw you once through silent rain,
no need for words, no cause for pain,
your eyes had answers time won’t steal,
your touch was quiet, strong, and real.
No gift of stone or shallow shine,
could match your hand that’s held in mine,
no diamond weight upon your wrist,
outshines the way your lips have kissed.
The world may shout of lesser things,
of hollow thrones and silver rings,
but what we have is quiet fire,
a steady heart, a fierce desire.
I’ll walk beside you, step for step,
through fields the morning never swept,
through quiet streets and distant towns,
where every night the sky leans down.
No crown required, no borrowed fame,
just whispered truth that speaks your name,
and in that truth, I’ve found what’s right—
your voice beside me in the night.
So let them keep their fleeting gold,
their stories tired, their legends old,
I’ve found my world in your embrace,
my shelter, home, and resting place.
