Whiskers and Purrs

Soft claws climb on silent floors,

Each with golden eyes aglow,

Even Pirouette and Sissonne turns are included.

In their worlds, they are the restraints.

Proud-tailed furry friends,

Masters of the windowsill,

Curious about each butterfly,

Time stops with them around.

Purring engines in the night,

We huddled in a sunlit circle,

Hunters with a strong play drive-what a sight to see;

Toy catching and mousey dreams.

Independent yet so sweet,

They like it when! When They show their love to them.

They plonk themselves upon your knee,

A moment of pure connection.

Wonderful thing are the people, yes and bright.

With unique personalities,

In their company, we seek,

the delight that gives life.

From Whiskers to Velvet Ears.

Cats give years of delight.

No matter how small or big, they hold it simply.

An oldie but goody.

To Cats then, our furry friends!

Whose beauty and grace never doth age,

In our homes and our hearts,

They make out of life, a playground; the tough course lessons.
