Summertime

In the arms of light and gold,

With warmth and sunshine ever bold,

The playful flowers, refreshing breeze,

Summer is the world at ease.

Fields of grass, a cheerful sky,

Flowers in every colour, miles high,

The laughter of the young at play,

Summertime is here to stay.

Autumn

Golden, amber, shining red,

A carpet unfolds underneath the sky. It has bred,

Air so cool and mind so clear,

Autumn beauty all far and oh near.

Whichever way the wind deigns to blow,

Pumpkin, apple, cider flow,

Harvest Moon, an autumn tune,

Underneath the summer moon.

Spring

In the morning, just past night,

Petals wake, their colours bright,

Song of Birds and Cherry Bloom,

Spring’s sweet kiss of life assumed.

Flowers bloom, and rivers gush,

Chill replaced with streaming lush,

Promise whisper, hope resound,

Spring to all life has bound.

Winter

Snow falls, quiet as the grave,

A white world comes the night to save,

Frosty trees and icy lane,

Winter’s peaceful reverie lane.

Candlelight warms winters tray,

‘Neath a mountain entire of snow, we stay,

Winter white and cool the light,

Winter’s the softest night.
