Don’t wanna be trapped

In my own prison

Teach me your freedom

Then I would venture

Deep enough,

Far Enough,

Inside my own soul

To find the keys

To these shackles

Haven’t we learned yet?

I guess we earned this huh?

This mess was born from

Closed mouths and blind eyes

Out of sight, out of mind

Not out of mine…

But I swear I’m fine

You give me the cold shoulder

Yet you shed tears on mine

It’s apparent the veil isn’t lifted

So as the weight of blame is shifted

I don’t regret saying my biggest plight

Is that I miss you

Isolation is amazing

Ain’t it crazy?

Aiding and abetting

Loyalty debating

Meanwhile the rest of the world

Is still in rotation

Fussing and fighting

Kick you out the rotation

I’m just saying

What are we doing here?

Why make time to waste time?

Let’s save time and cut ties

I don’t want to be trapped
