Whimsical Wishes
Wonderland Poetry Prompt Challenge Day 25

Whimsical wishes are wanting to win
Override sad ones always sneaking in
Chocolate and cookies, must be good foods
With everything else that improves your mood
Dancing on rain clouds, just white fluffy balls
Stomping your feet does you no good at all
Droll and serious forget all of that
Walk around proudly in your big top hat
Don't be pragmatic, or of solemn mind
Let yourself go, be a whimsical mind.

[Author's note: My first Dizain poem. Dizain poems are isometric and have ten stanzas each with ten syllables. Poets have to use the same number of syllables in each stanza and line for the poem to be called isometric. Traditional dizain poems have a defined rhyming scheme - ababbccdcd. This is different - aabbccddee- so it is not entirely traditional.]
Till next time,

Well done. I’ve never heard of a Dizain poem… may try one sometime.
This feels very "don't let the world bring you down and tell you that you can't dance on clouds in a top hat if you damn well please". An important message to us all to remain of whimsical mind.
You make me imagine Gene Kelly in dancing and singing in the rain, Well done!
I love this so uplifting ♦️🏆♦️
