where souls spill over

and fill the empty spaces

where souls spill over

i held you close

until you seeped between the cracks

and bled your soul into mine

not a loss, but a becoming—

your laughter settling in my bones,

your breath stitching into mine,

until I could no longer tell

where you ended and I began—

like dusk unraveling into night
