Where is your silver lining when you have no gold left within?

I gather that you could never discover one in Berlin.

I remember seeing a silver lining around the bend.

It was a mind-filled mirage that had to be prudently penned.

Where is the so-called silver lining in any bloody war?

All those who died or those who were maimed only portray the gore.

Is there a silver lining to a longer life all alone?

Not at all and even for a plant which can also bemoan.

-----

When Anthi smiles or laughs I can perceive a silver lining.

My life brightens up and even the Moon’s sliver is shining.

If every cloud has a silver lining before the rainbow,

let us become clouds at least once in our lives and rain aglow.
