How do I see new love in everyone?
It seems every which way I turn it's there
Oh how I long to be loved by someone
And though I search, I can never find where.
And this love I seek is found in no one
I have searched up and down, looked everywhere
Yet all in vain, for I never find one
Oh why, oh why is none of this life fair?
And through all of this, I cannot contain;
The sudden wave of romantic feelings
Yet never can I act, it brings such pain.
Day and night I dream of these lost feelings
Yet deep down I realize it is vain
Never will I gain what makes me reeling.
