Questions, Questions, so many unanswered questions,
Where does a broken heart go, when shattered and torn,
When sweet love melody turns into mourning?
Does it wander aimlessly like a lost cause in the night,
Seeking solace in the darkness of souls, in loneliness,
Maybe longing for light to conquer the darkness.
Does it hide in the shadows of our souls, afraid to be seen,
Holding onto fragments of what could have been or what might have been,
Or does it soar with the wind, searching for peace, a soul,
Yearning for healing, seeking rest.
Perhaps it finds refuge in the embrace of a friend,
Or in the gentle whisper of time where wounds heals,
Maybe it lingers in memories, bittersweet and true,
Finding strength in the past, to carry it through.
Wherever heartbreak may wander, whosoever it may find,
A broken heart carries on, resilient and kind.
For in the depths of sorrow, in the pain and woe,
There lies the courage to heal, to grow and to glow.
