Purposely looking for the right man to be my base

Where I am relaxed from all plights

A strong man that can keep me in pace

With love that transcends all time and space

I will fear nothing and take no flight

While I cannot escape your embrace

The man who can shoot my heart like an ace

Bring me down to a better sight

Of heart and warmth from your face

We will run through life’s long race

From good times and sometimes we fight

No one else could ever replace

Yet I cannot find you to brace

Nor bring my hearts to new heights

And bring my life to disgrace

Still searching for my one true love

I will stay true through any blight

Walking together in my head in our own space

But it seemed to me so displaced
