For when the holidays come near

Family comes from near and far

Seeing the new ones and old ones from last year’s views

Bring your food and memories to share the news

As the talk begins and old times are celebrated again

The love of season and sharing the food has begun

Though I am still stuck at the children’s table again

The food was plenty and so was the fun

Time to relax and enjoy the time

The smell of the food fills the whole house

As the cheer of all others has come to pounce

The laughter and time of family is what I like to remember the best

I enjoy writing for fun. I like to write for several genres including fantasy, poetry, and dystopian, but I am open to trying other genres too. It has been a source of stress relief from my busy life.
