Where Are You, Father?

Why can't I let you go?

Father, why aren't you in my life?

I tried and tried to forget you

but I don't want to lose this fight.

I'm fighting for a way to see you

even though you shut me out every time

What's holding you back?

Is it because you never wanted kids?

Am I not good enough for you?

These are all the questions that pass in mind.

Father, why aren't you in my life?

Can you give me a good reason that you slammed the door?

Can you give me a good reason why you blocked me out of your life?

Father, why aren't you in my life?

Ever since I was born

You skipped right out of my life

You missed the moments

where I needed you the most

Does it hurt to not even know your daughter

I guess not because you never even tried

I guess you weren't a father

you were just a donor

Father, why aren't you in my life?
