When You Left Like a Sunset

You didn’t say goodbye — you just faded beautifully out of my sky.

🕰️ 5. Before You Go

You didn’t say goodbye.

You just left like sunsets do — without warning.

For days, I waited for a message, a word, anything.

But silence became your voice.

I walk past the park where we first met.

The bench still remembers us, even if you don’t.

I tell myself it’s fine, that some love stories end quietly.

Yet, every time I close my eyes, I still see you walking away.

Not with anger, but with peace.

And that’s what hurts the most — that peace doesn’t include me.
