When Words Fall Short
In Honor Of My Friend
Defining the love of a mother
Is like catching and taming the wind
She has an ability, unlike no other
The best confidante, cohort and friend
Rarely, will you find another
As lovely or faithful and kind
Couldn’t replace the touch of your mother
The loss makes you feel left behind
Imagining tomorrow without her
Only Heaven understands what you face
Nothing comes close to the love of your momma, it’s a hole you can never replace

When words fall short? Kelli, you nailed the emotion and heartbreak eloquently. ❤️❤️💕
Praying that all those holes that have been left for you become filled to overflowing both with memories of the love you shared & the love you currently share with others.
Beautifully written Kelli!!! Every word and every thought is pieced together so perfectly. I could feel the emotions as I read each line. Thank you Kelli for so much love and beauty! Job well done.
Thank you so much, my dear friend. I didn't see the FB post, as I'm not in that group, but Gerald notified me. This is truly beautiful. ❤
