When We Parted Ways
A Journey Through Heartache and Healing

The sun once set in shades of gold,
Our hearts in cadence, stories told.
But like a tune that blurs absent,
The song now not remains.
We moved through evenings and whispered dreams,
But time disentangled what it appears.
A adore that sprouted at that point misplaced its way,
And gradually blurred day by day.
The giggling presently feels faraway, not close,
Echoes of delight turned into tears.
We thought we'd never say farewell,
But indeed stars must take off from the sky.
Presently hush fills the space we shared,
A lesson learned, a heart laid uncovered.
We're outsiders presently, but that's affirm,
For broken hearts will mend sometime in the not so distant future.
In spite of the fact that cherish may take off, it does not break,
It makes us more grounded for our sake.
And within the conclusion, we'll discover our light,
Indeed after love's final night.
