When we met so long ago,
Your love for me was so true I know.
I felt I had to lay my eyes on you.
I knew you were the one I'd date, you knew too.
You were able to let go of a wife,
And you knew one day I'd be in your life.
It was not long ' til this was true.
In less than a year I was the one for you.
From then on our love grew and grew.
I knew I had to love you and only you.
I felt you were a king to me.
I was so glad God gave me you, you see.
I knew a man like you was hard to find.
To me you were and are one of a kind.
My life with you has been and will be
The life God did plan for you and me.
