When Two Worlds Collide

Love blooms unexpectedly fast and furious

When Two Worlds Collide

You came from noise, from neon lights and crowds,

I walked through fields beneath the quiet clouds.

Your hands were quick, your voice ran fast and free,

I measured time in wind speed and me.

You spoke in sparks, in hurried city tones,

I answered slow, in weathered earth and stones.

Your world was clocks, and corners sharp and wide,

Mine moved with skies and tides that rose and died.

Still something stirred, a thread we couldn’t see,

Though nothing said that you belonged with me.

But hearts don’t wait for logic to decide—

They find their beat, and fall, and open wide.

We met between the stillness and the storm,

In some new place where quiet came warm.

No maps, no rules, just you and I inside

The hush that falls when two worlds dare collide.

Lovely and thoughtful Marie. When worlds blend into a new symmetry the result can be mesmerizingly perfect.
