When the Sky Learned to Listen

Sometimes silence carries more truth than thunder.

The clouds once roared with restless might,

They chased the day and drowned the night,

Yet none could hear the whispered hue,

Of stars that begged to break right through.

The wind would shout, the rain would plead,

But never pause for what they’d need,

A moment still, a breath unplanned,

To feel the world, to understand.

One dawn, the storm grew tired and slow,

Its restless waves began to go,

The sky stood still — a tender hue,

And heard the earth say, “I hear you too.”

Since then, the sun has learned to wait,

To meet the moon at heaven’s gate,

And every cloud that drifts above,

Now listens first — and then shows love.
