Beside Blue Eyes

There isn't a more

comforting place to cry

than while walking

in the rain

*

The sky cries with you

and the smell of the trees

offer their condolences

*

The fog that kisses your face

matches the fog on your glasses

*

A passerby

will mistake your tears

for rain droplets

*

The sucking of the air

through your lips

can be mistaken for cold shivering

*

No one asks you what's wrong

You can grieve in peace

*

Mama Gaia cries with you

because she knows your pain

*

Father Sky sheds his tears

and his angels cry a sweet symphony

*

The waters of the rain

wash away your pain

and nature brings you back

home again
