Adorned in sheer perfection
an icy coating drapes your form
Creating the purest transformation
under a dusting layer of warm
Begs for a deeper introspection
and the calling to conform
A calm and clear reflection
a barrier from natures storm
When the chill speaks through the branches
the wonder of ornament awaits
Giving into the spell we're under
with every single step we take
Glistening sparks of icy magic
stir the child held within
With the flair of the dramatic
and a happy, toothy grin
Nipping the tip of pure excitement
along with fingers, ears and nose
Nature portrayed in cool enchantment
with the beauty it bestows
For a moment all of reality
melts away into the breeze
Restored with brief finality
a perfectly formed gentle freeze
