When I am long gone

Please give my regards

I’ll watch from beyond

To hear your remarks

I can’t help but wonder

What story you’ll tell

To those you encounter

Will I do well

What impact felt

What you say I became

What legacy left

What impressions remain

By not measure of money

Or possession or property

Instead of my deeds

And devotion, integrity

Of giving to others

A mindset of charity

There is work to be done

Admit that, I do

But that story is one

I want to ring true

When the bell tolls
