The Heart’s Final Answer
I knew a moon that circled the earth
What moon is this that circles you?
We believed that Aroma was gifted to flowers
When did fragrance leave them and come to you?
The Blue Ocean was accused of drowning lives in it
When did you snatch that acquisition and secure it to you?
Yesterday I loved the bird and its fathomless song
Today you spoke— Why I just wanna listen to you?
They say 'mistakes' aren't always meant to be forgiven
Do eyes wear a blindfold if the doer of mistake is you?
I thought my Love was Magnanimous and charitable
When did I become selfish and save it just for you?
"Actions speak louder than words", I thought it was true
But I fell for a single word, and I fell harder—It was "YOU"
My paradoxical questions make me numb and dumb
My heart feels at ease when the answer is you
