When Silence Speaks Louder Than Words
A poetic reflection on the weight of unspoken emotions and the truths hidden in quiet moments.

In a world of noise, where voices collide,
Truth often hides, with nowhere to reside.
Between every sentence, a pause takes its stand,
Holding the stories we cannot demand.
Silence, a language that few understand,
Gentler than whispers, yet firm in command.
It carries confessions too heavy to say,
And keeps broken hearts from fading away.
Not every ache wears a visible face,
Some wounds are etched in a quiet place.
Not every tear dares to fall from the eye,
Some drown inside where the echoes lie.
We speak of love, of promises true,
Yet silence reveals what words never do.
It shows the distance that grows in the night,
When hearts are together, but far from the light.
There is a silence that comforts the soul,
A peaceful embrace that makes us whole.
And there is silence that sharpens the pain,
A hollow reminder of love in vain.
So if you should listen, don’t only hear sound,
Look in the stillness where truths are found.
For silence can heal, or silence can break,
It gives as it hides, it binds as it takes.
