When Silence Became You
Some hearts echo louder when no one listens.

I hear your laugh in walls so bare,
Like ghosted whispers in the air.
The bed is made, the light is dim,
But still, I drown where you used to swim.
The clock forgets to count the pain,
It ticks but never speaks your name.
The shadows stretch where once you stood,
A trace of love misunderstood.
I call it peace, but it’s not true—
Just silence now that became you.
