When I'm silent;

I learn to Live

Sometimes when I'm silent,

And my mind is blank,

Is the moment I realize

How low I've sank.

***

And then somehow

Through others' speech

I learn so much more

than a human can teach.

***

And then it hits me,

That if only I would

Shut my mind

And just do as I should;

***

Then I will soar;

And then I will give;

And then I'll let go;

And then... I will live.
