When I'm Gone
This is the third poem in this series, including "When I Die," and "While I Live."

This poem completes a trilogy that began with When I Die and continued with While I Live. Each piece reflects a sacred stage of my journey. When I'm Gone is a poetic mirror written from the vantage point of eternity.
When I’m Gone is not a farewell. It is a continuation. My spirit will live on in those whose lives I touched. I wrote this poem as a gentle reminder that love, wisdom, and purpose will not end with my last breath. Instead, they will ripple forward.
If When I Die whispers mystery and While I Live declares purpose, then When I’m Gone affirms peace. It is my way of saying: I will still live—in laughter, in prayer, and in the hearts and minds of those left behind.
When I'm Gone
When I’m gone, butterflies will still speak.
The wind will carry my laughter through leaves.
The words I spoke will rise in the hearts of those who heard.
And my prayers will echo in the dreams of my followers.
When I’m gone, I’ll still be teaching—
In the hush before sunrise
And in the pause between words.
My legacy will not lie still.
It will flutter, whisper, and bloom.
When I’m gone, remember:
I lived with purpose.
I loved with passion.
And I left with peace.
When I’m gone,
Remember me as I so lived.
The Trilogy
This is a gentle invitation to read the entire trilogy. Each piece is a reflection of my spiritual journey. May the poems bless you, as they have blessed me by writing, reading, and reflecting on them.
- When I Die speaks of transformation.
- While I Live speaks about the sacred now.
- When I’m Gone affirms legacy.
