In the midst of the fight
The day that Cory got Vocal.

How we're tossed and we're twirled
The day that Cory got Vocal.

Didn't waste his shot
'cause once may be all that he's got
The day that Cory got Vocal.

Read not a child's (or phone) book,
Instead shared cries for help for our look
The day that Cory got Vocal.

Didn't flinch- showed the rough,
Asked 'How much is enough?!'
The day that Cory got Vocal.

The record he broke
(It's no shame to be woke!)
The day that Cory got Vocal.

Now we must use our voice!
