What You See Outside Is Nothing

Compared To What You See Inside My Warm Heart

Come, see me;

Don't just see my weight,

Or my flabby arms;

I may not be the perfect shape,

But, who is anyway?

Don't judge me by the size of my nose,

Or how well I pose,

Does my body size or appearance even matter,

When my personality dances like summer?

These are all things you can see,

They are minor,

Compared to what you don't see,

I have the kindest of hearts,

The most gentle of minds,

I smile like the stars,

When you look further, from afar,

Search for the me that is inside my

physical body,

Don't just look at what is outside,

For,

What you see outside is nothing,

Compared to what you see inside

My warm heart.

    Absolutely beautiful, and if everyone would see people's hearts, the world would be a better place indeed. -- Great job- Well done- Carol Ann.
