What would you do…

For Love?

By Katherine DockeryPublished 2 years ago 1 min read

What would you do…

For love?

How high would you climb?

How long would it last?

Would it stay in a vase

Would it become so vast

Stop the rhyming, let’s get serious

I ask…

Or state.

Love can make mountains move

Can make grown men cry

Can make some of them drool

It can be weak or strong

Let you know where you belong…

Where do you belong?

Where do I belong?

Is love really all you need?

Time, patience, laughter, hope, dreams, stability, money…

Money, the root of all evils…

Or the help of all good.

There’s a point in here somewhere, I promise.

How far will you go for love?

How deep will you travel inside someone’s mind…

… just to get to know them?

Do you dare to meet their demons?

Are you ready for what you may face?

Will you accept with open arms…will you embrace

Their entire being?

How far will you go…

What would you do for love?
