What was my crime?

Day 11/30: A series where I write a poem every single day for 30 days.

By Maryam BatoolPublished 5 months ago 1 min read

Losing again, all over again, why does it happen to me?

Why does life hit me obstacles, everywhere I see

I wish to become a dust particle to set me free

Or maybe a withered plant, small part of the tree

.

Why did I fail again, what was my crime?

Did I hurt someone and pushed them in grime?

Why, Just Why? It's never ever MY TIME?

When would I feel alive, when would life end the climb?

.

I'm starting to think I was never meant to be there

'Cause I keep tripping over every step of the stair

It's almost the end of everything I could bear

Life hasn't been easy, I don't think it did me FAIR

.

A/N:

I'm doing amazing, and I don't have the GIVE-UP energy... It's just a poem that I wrote, thinking of being someone else.

Deep and meaningful, but glad it is not how you really feel. 😉😉
