What's it like to be loved?

Is it a gift from up high, as some say?

For best experience, listen to my music while reading this poem.

...

I just arrived on this world, what a sight

So much chaos, so much action, day and night

People running, people chasing, what's the goal?

Trying to fit in, trying to be part of the role

Brothers buying diamonds, just to show

Trying to keep up with the Joneses, don't you know?

Ladies having babies, just to please

Fellas chasing ladies, they just want some peace

Timelines, swipes, and deep conversations too

Marvin with candlelight, ocean and a sprite or two

Love is a mystery, a perplexing thing

Gravity holding us down, like the bird on a string

Finding love can be hard, so many unknowns

Understand it first, then it can be grown

Buying love is not love, it's just a farce

Sincerity, not dependency, is what love should come with, not a task

fact or fiction
